David has spent more than 15 years working with small to midsize business owners, helping them navigate challenges such as cash-flow uncertainty, cost-structure refinement, and growth readiness. His career began in public accounting at CPA firms, where he learned that many small business owners operate without a clear financial compass.

Raised on a small family-owned dairy farm in Midwest Ohio, David learned early that hard work, ethics, and disciplined decision-making aren’t optional—especially when margins are tight and timing matters. After graduating from The Ohio State University and earning his CPA credential, he spent the next decade-plus advising business owners who wanted more than clean books and tax filings—they wanted guidance.

Over time, David saw a consistent gap between what many firms provide and what owners actually need to build a business that supports their family and long-term goals: clear targets, reliable cash flow, and a plan they can execute. He founded North Point CFO to change that—to give owners not just KPIs and high-level advice, but real understanding and actionable step-by-step guidance.
